We have the same lift height and I got 31x10.5s which are LT and barely any change in gas mileage- just depends on your driving pattern
Any tire that is bigger than stock will decrease your gas mileage on some way, be harder to get up to speed from dead stop and slow down quickly

Are these on a 15" rim?
The ONLY set I found which is LT245/75R16 load C are: the Cooper AT3s --

Worth switching my P-metric Hankook Dynapros to those?

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
I see.. bummer from their website seems only available in load C for
LT265/70R17C and LT265/75R16C sizes which won't help me.

I think in general 245/75R16 size options are either P or LT load E, so I think I'll stay with my Hankook dynapro P metrics as I feel a 10 ply is an overkill for the KJ that'll reduce my gas mileage, enlarge my braking distance and provide stiffer ride. Afterall I do drive the truck mostly on-road and will off-road once a month max. Not expecting to do any real rock crawling with IFS anyways..

Your using a tire size that is a stock size for many 3/4 ton and 1 ton vehicles so 95% of all tires you will find are going to be load range E as that is the sole market for those tires and that is shrinking very fast since all of those vehicles are 10+ years old now. There has only been 1 vehicle in the last 25 years that came with 245/75R16's that was not a 3/4 ton or 1 ton pickup and that was the Wrangle Rubicon(TJ) and they rocked load range E MT/R's.If you want load range C's your going to have to drop to 15" rims or run a much bigger tire for 16" rims.

I'd run a E rated tire,my KJ rode the best with E rated tires on and run a set for daily driving on my KJ right now(315/75R16's).

Oh and if your worried about MPG's a Jeep is the last vehicle you should be driving let alone lifting and putting bigger then stock tires on.

I wouldn't expect to get 5 good quality A/T tires for much under $1k
You get what you pay for and you really don't want to cheap out on tires
Any good set of 5 will run you likely $900-$1k+ unless you find a very good deal on them

Yep good tires are not cheap and only get more expensive the bigger you go.

My 1st set of 35x13.50x15 Toyo MT's was $1800 for 5 tires with a 25% military discount.I did get a deal on my 315/75R16 Destination MT's,5 ran me $1000 with my employee discount(saved $550 alone on road hazard).

I'd stick with Goodyears or really any good brand you hear about almost every day and as stated before they won't be cheap for a set of 5 so don't expect that at all

Decided to mount the Hankook Dynapros P metics, mainly because of: budget, my type of needs and your input. Thanks for all the info!

Aftermath: Tires mounted, truck drives super nice.
I believe I could've mounted 265/70R16s EASILY, and gain 2" of ground contact, as there's plenty of space around the wheels in all directions...

I'm running 265/70/17s with 2.5 inch lift and barley rubs sway bar. I am going to install 1 inch spacers though. I know some people don't like them but there are alot of people running them with good review on and off road. Rocky Road Outfitters uses them in theirs.

245-75-16
265-70-16
31-10.50-15
all within a fraction of an inch difference in height

Like mentioned depends a lot on tread pattern, width and backspacing on the wheel and other little things
