Sometimes they offer cheap transfers yard to yard..
I also saw a few hoods on ebay but those are all primed-only, so a good matching paint job will still be in place.

If you could find a black one local the paint might match up pretty good and you would have an extra one to sell and perhaps recoup some of the money??

Just thinking out loud.

I called another shop, one friend of mine drives a towncar and they've got a place where they do touch-ups, since they get a lot of cuts and nicks driving around all day. I will go see the place, when he heard my estimate he flipped..

Hey hyedipin

What a bunch of **** bags.
It be nice to get your hands on that piece garbage lay the boots
to them.
Kick the ever living ***** matter out of 'em!

The other day I pull up to a handicapped parking stall
and go to park and this late 1970's early American Land Yacht,
a Plymouth Fury (without a wheel chair permit) with four guys
sitting in it cuts me off and pulls in to the handicapped parking
stall I was about to pull into.
The drivers simple answer, Oh well, I'm only gonna be like ten
minutes. Go find another crip parking stall.
The greeter at the Wal mart called a tow truck. Said Land Yacht
Gets towed within five minutes!:D
The owner of that Fury like completely pops a vein and has an
aneurysm on the tow driver.

Bad move.
When we finished shopping and I get rolled outside, there now two
police cruisers and a tow truck. Buddy in hand cuffs now.

He had that coming, the parking lot tow trucks are really fast since they get good money since they are not strictly regulated when it comes to charges. I have seen them racing many times to pick up a car.

Oh an update, I went to Aamco, got hood and both front and rear bumpers painted for $400. It looks brand new.

I work in law enforcement in Arizona and it looks the start of a gang symbol and the scumbag messed it up in the process and tried to cover his mistake by scratching it out.

Typically XIII, XIV and XVIII are gang signs that you would find in the gangs respective color. On a car is unlikely. They like to put it on buildings to mark territory and/or dis rival gangs. Probably just your run of the mill ****** bag vandal and/or wannabees that are trying to make a name by vandalizing the hood of a Jeep Liberty.
