backspacing question

I am buying some mamba mr1 moab wheels 16x8 with 4.5 backspacing and I was wondering of they would need any trimming or would they give the kj any wider stance I'm getting the black ones cause they look sick!

Well, with the 16x8" rim, you are going to get 1"/per wheel wider stance...then with a 4.5" BS there's another 1" from factory 5.5" BS.

So 2" wider at each corner, if my math is correct.

3" wider, actually, since the wheels are an inch wider than the stockers, making for another half inch.

Can't speak for the rock krawler lift.

With a good lift, kind of, depending on tire size

Well its. 21 inches from center wheel to fender and I got 245/75 on there now with no rubbing unless at full lock btw I plan on getting rid of this lift and replacing with ome but the rk lift came in the jeep when I bought it

Get 16x7s with less radical backspacing
