Hi all I have a 2002 kj 2.4 petrol and my air con is completely empty of refrigerant. The question is can I simply fill the system or do I need to put compressor oil in it. Any info is welcome

Here in the States almost all of the DIY air conditioning refills have compressor oil in them. I would think that compressor oil should be used every time you have to recharge the air conditioner.

If its empty then more than likely I would assume you have a leak in the system. if so then you need to get it repaired and then go through the whole system, it will need to be drawn down / checked and then filled if possible
