255/70's finally installed

any one running this size?
wife got a flat yesterday and when I was plugging it I noticed just how bad the MTR's were
knowing that she needs new tires and that we just spent a butt load on 5 new MTR-K's for the TJ the last thing I needed was to drop another $800 on 4 new tires
I opted ,against my better judgement, for 4 Yoko. at's
I figure that for $408 + M&B I will live
problem was they were only able to get me the 255/70's by next Friday
they are shorter than the MTR's by .5" but wider by the same
I did not want my wife ,daughter, and mother in law running 400 miles 1 way on the MTR's

so any one else running this size?
major rubbing issues? ,I can not see any major issues as the MTR's only rubbed very slightly ,245/75

these are the ones we got

Should fit. Sway bar rub maybe because width. However the have a wide tread width for a 245 series. Maybe ok?

Soft tires though, talk to Jeepster he runs them. Great in wet i believe but wear quick

Yeah, jeepjeepster is running those but I don't know what size he is using. I'm sure he will see this and post up.

So I finally got these installed
all this is compared to MTR's in a 245/75 on OE wheels
these are much quieter ,go figure
they get about the same traction in the rain ,been getting a good bit
there is no comparison in wet grass and dirt
they rub the same ,OME suspension with 30K+ miles
MPG's have yet to be calculated

if you do 99% road driving with the only off road being "dirt 2 tracks" then these should be fine but dont expect much more from them
how ever at a cost of $102 to the door not a bad deal so worth the give up

up date with MPG's and dirt road
MPG's went up but not much
+1 city and +2 highway
took the KJ and the 2 year old down a long dirt road that a few weeks back was impassable with out 35's
the day we ,me and my 2 year old little girl, went it was dry and dusty with only the very slightest hint of mud in the very deepest ruts
the ruts in some spots were so deep that I dragged bottom and as long as I did not hit any wet spots I was fine
how ever if you hit any kind of mud you need to use "ba-ha speed" to get out
