Does the EVIC module itself mount into the light housing ( 4 screws) at the same points as an OTIS? I'm assuming (and hoping) so, it will be easier to get a module and not need to worry about the light housing color or if it has/doesn't have a...

Does your 03 show in your odometer area that your have a door or lift glass or gate open? I noticed that your EVIC will indicate what specific door is open (like Driver Door).
Are there not fuel tank repair kits that allow you to plug a hole that obviously seal properly from the outside? I have not personally used one nor do I know the dimension of hole it will plug. YOu may want ot call your local NAPA and see what they may have to plug a hole in sheetmetal.
I found and installed an OTIS in my 2002 KJ. Looks great, does all its supposed to. It came out of a 2002 KJ Limited in perfect like new condition so I was assured of no compatibility problems. Thanks to all for the installation tips, they were a great help for a clean and quick install!

Its funny...I think several years ago now, that I found what was probably the last TC skid from Jeep/Mopar in either the US or Canada for my 02 KJ in British Columbia at a dealer in Prince Rupert. The parts guy sent a local travel brochure with it for the Prince Rupert area (near the Alaska...

Has anyone replaced one of the key light bulbs in thier OTIS (and also I believe the EVIC) overhead display? It looks like it will cost about 12 bucks? One of mine is out. Looked up the bulb in the FSM...got the number and called the dealership (also looked online)...its about 12 Bucks...
All done with install. Easy as described. Hardest/most time was spent finding the connectors and confirming power to them. Finally some additional light to find stuff!
I have wanted to do this forever, and even looked for the connectors. Well I have found them thanks to ZERODSM. The connector is getting power so by BCM is supplying it. I have ordered the lamps (OEM) from my dealer (about 16.50 each - expensive but in my mind worth it) and yes, on my 2002...
Interesting...my build date is 6/25/01. Here is what Jeep sent me when I inquired:
Thank you for contacting the Chrysler Customer Assistance Center regarding your 2002 Jeep Liberty.

Not sure what year your KJ is, but the 2002 FSM says to remove engine:
" The engine oil pan is made of laminated steel and
has a single plane sealing surface. The sandwich
style oil pan gasket has an integrated windage tray
and steel carrier (Fig. 75). The sealing area of the
gasket is molded...
