I was going to mention what LibertyFever said...it involves dropping the transmission. A clutch job may sound simple, but there is a lot of work involved. Also, when getting a replacement clutch, don't go cheap. You want one that will last a long time, not just a year or two.

Good choice, I've also got the HD OME springs and am very happy. Plus you mentioned that at times, you'd like to be able to tow and/or have a full load with family etc. For this alone, I think HD was the right choice.

Actually I think this forum is pretty respectable regarding 2wd KJ's, I haven't really seen any bashing outside of the "my 2wd can do anything your 4wd can do" threads. A 2wd is fine and very capable, but in reality is limited when it comes to off roading.

Holy **** man, how can you afford to drive your KJ? If I had to pay that, I'd take the plunge for a new Ford Fiesta or a hybrid :).

You might want to post in the Wanted section, surprisingly I've seen some Limited owners who don't like all the bling and want to trade for certain Sport trim pieces. Otherwise I'd say ebay, craigslist or maybe a junkyard (but 05+ are harder to find in a jyard).

Same thing I was wondering, whether you used a plastic gapper. Apparently the metal gappers will damage Platinum plugs...

Honestly haven't read much at all bout others using the NGK Platinum's, it seems everybody runs either the regular NGK's (only good for ~20k) or Autolite Platinums. I installed the Autolite's when I first got the Jeep and it ran great. Sorry not much help here, but you may want to consider...

That's a nice fitting seat cover, but it looks to have a huge ugly stain on the front, you might want to clean that off. GO PACKERS!!!

Are the K&N filters really not good? Damn, I'm on my 2nd change now with them and REALLY like the 1" socket on the end to remove them. They are a bit more expensive too... Not trying to start a debate, but can anybody provide bad reviews or links on these? I thought I had found an awesome...

Same exact problem here with an 05' Sport, no topping off of the fuel. I've actually had this problem for all the 3 years I've had my KJ. It's under warranty and I asked the local dealer, they also said to pump slower. Since then, my local dealer was shut down, so I'd still like to talk with...
