Son-In-Laws KJ hard starts after fuel fill up....Needs to crank it 6-7 times before it starts than it's just fine until next fill-up ????????????/ any ideas why ??- joeg

I didn't post the link due to this from JoN............. Please refrain from posting links to Factory Service Manuals (FSM's) in any forums. While we're all for helping a fellow KJer out with by far the best manual out there for the KJ, it opens up the doors to some liability and copyright...- joeg

Manual covers all mechanical, Elec. Body, and interior. 3.7 L and Diesel. Also shows locations of spot welds, body sealers, etc...etc.... 140 Meg Download.- joeg

Installing a Maglite on the Driver's Side
I have the 3 cell and it slides right in between the drivers seat and the center console nicely and stays put til needed. no clamps. no drilling, etc......- joeg

Window Regulators
I apologize...I misread the paperwork. The $47.00 was for blower motor and wheel (recall) the regulator was $75.00 with about $45.00 for installation (warranty)..- joeg

just had my left rear window reg. replaced under warranty. Dealership paperwork showed a charge of $47.00 Plus change for the regulator.- joeg

Big "KLUNK" and the window quit working..Happen to you ??
Yup..Regulater it was....Dealer fixed it and did blower recall in less than an hour. Didn't cost me a thing but billing charges showed $199.97- joeg

Heard a big klunk in left passenger door and the window quit working. Switch didn't do anything but you can raise and lower with your hands.. Anyone familiar with this?? Under Warrenty,,dealer to fix tomorrow....- joeg

Figured out my P0442 code. I think...
Brake fluid ...Just wipe down with a rag with brake fluid. It's job is to keep brake seals soft and pliable and it does well on any rubber hose..............Used it often for years..- joeg

Yea...Hemi for a Hemi....That's what he had in it... He doesn't understand how the water was sucked up..he said it wasn't very deep...He thought.. Standing water in parking lot after heavy rainfall..- joeg

didn't happen to me personally but a fellow worker's kid.. Went thru standing water in a Grand Cherokee and it sucked up some water and now he's getting his Hemi replaced or whatever. They want another $600.00 over and above his $100.00 deductable for a betterment charge. his motor had about...- joeg

Ford Assy Many yeras ago I worked FORD assembly plant and we ran 58 cars per hour. Basically 8 hrs from placing frame on line to drive away at end. all components ready to assemble, just put it all together.- joeg

First Real drive inthe KJ...My impressions
My first real highway trip with the KJ and it was just fine…..If it wasn’t, my wife would have told me so and she was quiet the whole way. We left Orlando Florida at 10:30 AM the 15th and arrived in Northern Ohio just west of Cleveland almost exactly 24 hours later. Total of 1105 miles. The...- joeg
