    Squeaky Front Suspension??

I have a 2004 Renny with 32K on it. Over the past 6 months the front suspension has developed some sqeaking whenever there is considerable body roll, or going over bigger bumps. This is the front suspension only. The rear says quiet. No lift kit. No mods. Drives down the road perfectly. Ball...

    DRILLED/SLOTTED

Bottom Line: Typically if you drive like a normal person every day, drilled, slotted rotors are not needed and can cost you more money than they are worth in the long run. Two situations where a drilled, slotted setup is good to have: 1. If you road race or oval race 2. If you are...

    Electric Supercharger

The electric "superchargers" or "turbos" on Ebay are complete bullshit and in most cases can cause damage to your vehicle. First of all, these devices don't provide any boost from their meager, plastic fan blades. In most cases they restrict airflow. In some cases when they physically fail...

    Roof Rack

I have the Mopar roof rails... got them on Ebay for $100 even. I use Rocky Mounts Noose bike racks on them. Nice setup. Not a whole lot of wind noize.

Anyone driven the 07 4dr Wrangler yet?

I drove a soft top and "hard top" this past Saturday. Pros: ** I like the seats, more comfy than Liberty and the new cloth is very useful. ** Looks, they look nice from the outside ** The hard top with removeable panels is a great idea ** The mini-van engine was smooth as silk (the best...

    Recall F23

I took mine in before the re-call letter and without any extra paperwork. Performance Jeep here did the replacement no questions asked. Dropped it off at 7:30 am and had it back by 2pm. Zero charge. Zero hassle. Plus the Jeep seems to drive better. Overall I give it an A+.

    2008 Liberty

Looks like a Dodge Nitro minus the added little aerodynamics... Doesn't really turn me on.

    Why the Libby?

Ohhh yea... It was wayyyy cheaper and has a better interior layout than the Toyota FJ Cruiser which I initially wanted.

    Why the Libby?

Few reasons: 1. At the time, the Wrangler was too small 2. It was cheaper than many other SUVs 3. It looked good 4. I can tow my boat with it 5. I can throw my bikes on top 6. The overhead lights are handy camping Really, I don't see myself keeping it once the new Wranger 4DR is in...

    LEDs

If you just want to wire a light in-line with a existing light, I recommend an LED puck or strip. LEDs are use 80% more efficient than a standard bulb. Less draw. Very easy install. The kicker is that it won't exactly look "factory". But for a simple install, we use LEDs all the time mainly...

    Bug Deflector Question

Rocks Agreed, a little piece of plastic on your hood does nothing but protect that area of the hood... poorly as well. I also have history with getting chips. I just avoid big rigs, dirty trucks and anyopne without mudflaps as much as possible.

    Problem w/ hitch install

Hitches This is very common on a lot of vehicles, not just Jeeps. Just had a Rodeo in and the hitch was off a little from the mounting holes. These hitches twist and move from weather and handling. 1. Make sure you have an extra hand. These installs always go so much easier with two people...

    HUGE DILEMA!

... Just my ten cents: 1. If you can't mount a winch, I think they are kind of useless. 2. In a collision they are and added danger. (yes, all collisions are dangerous), effects airbag deployment. I think if you are going to spend the money on a good lift, tires...etc, then a guy...

What Windshield wipers do you use?

Wipers Anco standard wipers... $4/ea. Clipped on in a few seconds. They work excellent. If you require something fancier, you might want to look into some Rainx instead.

    Disable the Seatbelt Warning Sound

Much Thanks... Thanks guys. My first flip-through the OM I found nothing. Second time I found the magic disable procedure. Door locks never bothered me since technically a person never has to pull up on them. Pull the door handle and it pops right open.
