Not sure what transfer case I have exactly. But the other stuff you suggested would make sense as I've never had any of that replaced and we are at 168k lol

Hi Everyone,
So long story short when I drive in 2wd there is this terrible metal on metal sort of grinding noise coming from the front end. Sometimes more on the passenger side sometimes towards the middle. At low speeds its not noticeable but at 50+ it gets really noticeable.
I tried...
So the battery is less than 12 months old. I know there can be problems with new ones but i feel like I would have seen evidence of this before hand. I am going to try this.
Yesterday driving home the battery light came on halfway home. I ran a scan in real time and the error code was P2503 (charging system voltage low).
Went to a friends place and when I left the light did not come back on and everything seemed to be functioning fine. Next day the battery...
Trying to think of how I might be able to install bucket seats in the back. Anyone ever done this before? I have three spare power seat tracks and brackets but I am not sure how to make them fit in the back with that incline.

The tabs just look like this. Enough force just needs to be applied to pop them out. I used a flat head screwdriver wrapped with duct tape

You can get these things pretty cheap and installation is pretty straight forward you just slide them length wise in the slot on the fender flare where each hole is and then just slap them into the...
Installed a Gibson 3 inch muffler. Originally for a Grand Cherokee Chopped it and added 2.5 adaptors on both sides. Sounds like a beast. Love it so far. Did the rear brakes.

I just had the exact same thing happen to me. In my case it was a caliper bolt that fell out causing the caliper to dig into the rim and ultimately lock up that wheel. Had to replace pads, rotor , and caliper bokts and made sure to torque them to 120 ftlbs. Check service manual for exact torque...
So I got the bolts from advance and replaced them. I am more so wondering if I could have hurt the axle or gearing dragging that locked up front wheel

I learned a hard lesson on the importance of torque spec last weekend. At about 20 mph I tried to stop and heard a crazy rattling sound from the front end. I stopped and checked (I thought) everything and went on my way. About 300 yards down the road it happens again and this time the front...
Being that the only kit is 800 bucks I think I'll stick with what I got but I do like the look of this. Reminds me of the Grand Wagoneer which is one of my all time favorite jeeps

A caliper bolt fell out of my front right caliper today while in a Terrible part of town. Caused the wheel to lock up and the tire to blow. Limped it dragging the front wheel into a gas station and got it towed home.
Now waiting for a new bolt from AutoZone.
also going to go ahead and replace...
Thank you both! I like trying out weird stuff like that. I would really like to replace all the badges with vintage ones but they are surprisingly expensive
