How do you remove the fasteners outside trim

I need to do some rust repair on my rear door of my 07 Liberty. Anyone know how to remove the plastic trim without breaking them. I don't see how to remove the fasteners.

The tabs just look like this. Enough force just needs to be applied to pop them out. I used a flat head screwdriver wrapped with duct tape

I think I understand now. Looks like plastic rivets and assume can only use one time and has to be drilled out. And needs a tool to install new ones. The plan is to take off the door fearing and weld a rust patch and then bring it to a body shop to make it pretty. Hope they can work out my welds. At the same time I need the clear repaired on the front door. I hope I can do a decent job and save some money doing the hard work. I think I suck more at painting than welding.
