Finally installed rear shelf. Nice and secure, no movement at all :) Thanks to all who posted their experiences building theirs, made it quite easy for me to build one. With money saving mods like this, everyone should be a supporting member!

Built rear cargo shelf - at a cost of $40 total for wood/carpet/glue/hardware, who would pass up on this mod?! Will install it once the glue smell has gone - dont want to fume out my little girl!! - ordered weathertech rear cargo tray....

Yeah, sorry, I should have just said "wheel alignment". Used to work in the service dept. at Subaru, force of habit saying "4-wheel".

I had an XJ - bought this kit, installed it, then 2 weeks later, XJ was dead. Lights were probably on for an hour total - if that. Kit includes everything that it came with - in like new condition. (the wiring is a little dirty, from being installed under the hood, but no one sees that!)...

This was much easier than I thought.... Once the dash cover was removed and the speaker exposed: Remove the 2 srews holding the speaker in - socket wrench will work much better under the windshield.. Underneath you will find a quick connect. Dis-connect it, and remove the speaker...

Those JW headlights would be so sweet!| Is there much modification required to fit them into a KJ?
