Hi all,
Been out of the KJ game for a long time now, but still have some brand new unused Mopar Skid Plates. These were for my 05, but I've jotted down the Part Numbers below. Have sat in an attic for years.
All Brand New - Asking $225 cash. Pickup only in Iowa. Includes OEM hardware...
You are out of your mind. I'm pretty sure I would have handled this the exact same way. Someone hits your vehicle, visually acknowledges it and then speeds off would boil my blood. I would have absolutely blocked him in, called the cops and confront him and whomever right there. I also would...
Here is a thread from when I lifted mine, I think it would be helpful:

It has quite a bit of the info you're looking for. This is the OME/Rancho lift, including Boiler's shims and Terraflex Bumpstops.
I was going to mention what LibertyFever said...it involves dropping the transmission. A clutch job may sound simple, but there is a lot of work involved.
Also, when getting a replacement clutch, don't go cheap. You want one that will last a long time, not just a year or two.
Good choice, I've also got the HD OME springs and am very happy. Plus you mentioned that at times, you'd like to be able to tow and/or have a full load with family etc. For this alone, I think HD was the right choice.
Actually I think this forum is pretty respectable regarding 2wd KJ's, I haven't really seen any bashing outside of the "my 2wd can do anything your 4wd can do" threads.
A 2wd is fine and very capable, but in reality is limited when it comes to off roading.
Wanted to share this if it wasn't already posted, found on slickdeals.net, I'm tempted to buy it...
ScanGauge II 3-in-1 Compact Multifunction Vehicle Computer @ $129.99/shipped
Amazon [amazon.com]has the ScanGauge II 3-in-1 Compact Multifunction Vehicle Computer for $159.99-$30 coupon code...
You might want to post in the Wanted section, surprisingly I've seen some Limited owners who don't like all the bling and want to trade for certain Sport trim pieces.
Otherwise I'd say ebay, craigslist or maybe a junkyard (but 05+ are harder to find in a jyard).
Honestly haven't read much at all bout others using the NGK Platinum's, it seems everybody runs either the regular NGK's (only good for ~20k) or Autolite Platinums. I installed the Autolite's when I first got the Jeep and it ran great.
Sorry not much help here, but you may want to consider...
