You might be able to, but other wise you must install a new cluster.

Not sure if its like my 70 c10 gauges or my XJs gauges that you could easily swap for a LED bulb but if so while your in there you could swap to some LED bulbs! :D

you probably press the neddles to hard down, so the light bar indicator won't work??? Have you check for a loose wire?

do a gauge test-

with the vehicle off:

1. press and HOLD the trip odometer button

2. turn the vehicle to ON (don't start it)

3. release the trip button

4. watch the test run: when your mileage is displayed, the test is complete.

this lights up every light on the dash and the needles will all move in sync with eachother- neat little way to make sure everything is in working order. I don't even have a lightbar or the factory wiring for one and mine comes on. hell even my ABS light comes on and I dont have that either.

Thanks Midgear i just did that and it did as you said...so the light works so now i wonder why the hell it came on but then when i tried to wire it and try it it didnt work...and then i unwired everything and tried it straight out by itself and still wont work...so what could it be?

Please tell us you only grounded pin 19.

Control of this light is via the PCI bus from the Body Control Module. Any voltage on this pin will damage the BCM.

These are the indicators not controlled via the PCI bus: Seatbelt, Brake, left turn, low coolant, low washer, right turn

Yes, I read it all.

As per the following, "and then i unwired everything and tried it straight out by itself and still wont work...so what could it be?"

My understanding is this. The light works during self test and not when you wire #19(to ground). If this is correct, the BCM is not telling the EMIC(cluster) to turn the light on.

If I got it wrong..... Glad it works again. The rest of what I posted was general info about the cluster operation regarding the cluster indication lights. Which may help someone else reading this.
