Yet another question - remote start / back panel open

Ok guys ........... as y'all know, I just 'bout a used 03 Liberty.

It came with an aftermarket Viper remote start installed.

great! But, the remote doesn't open the rear glass like the standard remote that comes with the vehicle. However, it does have an "Aux" button, that I imagine can be used for that purpose, as it seems to have no other function.

What I'd really like to do is use the standard remote that comes standard with the Liberty to activate the remote start. On the Viper remote, you depress both the Unlock & Lock buttons at the same time to perform the remote start.

Can I program the standard remote to do the same, even though the remote start is a Viper?

If not, does anyone know how to program the Viper remote to open the back glass, using the Aux button?

Or, even better yet ............ since I have the remote start already installed, can I just scrap both remotes, and go with something like this, by just programming it in some way?:
