Our 06 limited with automatic n overdrive behind 3.7 V6 suddenly left a puddle in the carport. It shifts fine and nobody has worked on it in some time. It has suddenly gotten ambiently hotter here in AZ after a mild spring but otherwise no reason this might suddenly show LOTS more fluid on the stick than is called for. Wondering if anyone has ever seen a blockage in the cooler lines to the radiator that might cause the fluid to show higher. It has been weeks since we looked on the stick since there have been no signs of leaks and no misbehaviour of the operation. Also not clear where the venting of the fluid came from. It does not appear to have burped out the filler dipstick tube. Is there an emergency vent underneath somewhere? Thank you.

More likely to be water getting into the box, is the fluid milky?
if so don't drive it, you will wreck it!

I had 2 Liberty's and both did the same thing it was hard to believe but the pan rusted through from the outside. I would wipe it off and the leak would stop for a day or 2 then a small puddle again. So I bought a new pan and gasket with a drain plug to make it easier to drain. And I still have the one been 4 years and no leak at pan. But cooler lines are getting rusty where they go along side of the engine. The pan leak was hard to find because every time I cleaned it off it would stop for a while.
