Looks like there's some minor weeping through the WP gasket.
I see minor white crud around the WP and engine block.
very small leak when I pressure test the cooling system.
I'm going to re-torque the bolts to see if that helps.

I believe I used a felpro gasket.

Anyone experienced this?
I think I'm about 35-40k miles on this WP.

Seen original ones leak but not aftermarket that soon
Did you use sealer or anything on it ?
I've never had any issues with the ones that come with the water pumps, and never use anything else

No sealant.
I think the WP was from Napa.

I can't remember if I replaced it with a felpro or used the gasket that came with it.

My NAPA one started leaking after about 75k. Flung coolant on the thermostat housing and that part of the frame rail down there.

Was it your gasket or it started leaking from the weep hole?

Napa's truflow WP looks like a gates according to the lifetime warranty.

Most all of the water pumps have a groove built into them where the new gasket sits, never use any type of sealer on them. Some sealers will actually eat the gasket away so be very careful.

I'm running an AC Delco water pump on the 05, metal blades, very well built, gasket wa flexible easy to install
will buy them again when need arises

Not sure, I had a shop do it this time. Got a Mopar one put on.

How does it compare to a Mopar one? Which AC Delco line?
