Why is it so hard to find a nice looking(IE no bling,bling wheels) all black wheel that is 15x8 with 3"-4" of back spacing with a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern? They don't exist and no I'n not painting or powdercoating.

I like to be ahead of the game and I'm starting to option my next tires(and hopefully all black wheels) as my tire size is not exactly cheap.Guess I'm stuck going to 17" rims to get what I want and then that means 37" tires as I want my 10" of sidewall,so there's another $120 per tire over a 15" tire.

They look like they should be on a jeep that goes off road.
I hate all the "Bling Bling" rims that people are putting on their Jeeps, Hummers, full size pick-ups etc. lately.

Thought long and hard about those but 70lbs per wheel compared to 40lbs per wheel is a drastic difference on the brakes.Plus after all said and done the re-centered H1 rims are really no cheaper then the alloy versions.

You obviously are not scared to spend money...
Have some custom billet aluminum wheels made.

Cost is not really the issue but being able to pick up another quickly if needed rules out a custom made wheel,plus billet wheels run super big bucks but you can't deny there strength.

I'll have to add 1" of rear bumpstop otherwise there will be no issues with 37" tires.Built it to run 37's but kept it at 35" for longer term HP44 life and since most 37" tires(that I would run) are either for 16.5" rims or 17" rims kept me away from 37's.

Yeah no traditional beadlock wheels either,not daily driver freindly and I like to actually balance my tires.If your going to lock the beads might as well do it right the 1st time and lock both beads.

I dispise stick on weights and refuse to buy any wheel that requires them.


Yeah I am picky about something very small like stick on weights but do what I do for a living and you'd understand.

Ditto, I've heard great things about them and know a few that have used them. I also know someone that used "Slime" to balance their tires...I wouldn't advise that though if it gets cold at all where you are.

Also, just wondering what is keeping you away from the 16.5s? From what I understand, you have some experience with the 37x12.5R16.5 on the HMMWV. Yes, the rims are a bit hefty, but the legit HMMWV rims are darn sturdy.

I've gOt my eyes on those!
Problem with the Teflon is that it gets scratched off easily.
Just like a frying pan when you scrape it with a fork!

but refuse to use stick on weights
So after every wheelin trip you rebalance your tires?
I have lost "clip on" weights or what ever they are called
every time I played in the rocks
All I run is stick on weights
been on my MTR's for 3 years and no issues

My next wheels will be what ever I can get cheep
in a version to fit what ever tire I am going to run
but I will have Staun internal bead locks
65psi at the bead
12 psi in the tire
100% DOT legal

Actually yes I do balance my tires after every wheeling trip,align my KJ also.I get paid to do it so why not.

Stauns are a pain in the a$$,screw those damn things.I'd rather use split ring wheels.

The mud and gunk slips right off while you drive.
