Got notice the skid plates I ordered will finally get delivered on Black Friday via DHL.
Man, I wish US companies could ship via DHL. Fast and Cheap!
Also looks like I’ll have time to put the third windows cargo doors this weekend.
Fingers crossed, been trying to do that for a month and life keeps getting in the way.
Also negotiated an 06 sport down to the magic number of 500$. The wife is sold on the concept of getting a Black Bert and fixing it up because it’s cheaper than repairs on her 15 Altima.

TEMPERARALY GOT MY ALARM TO NOT TURN ON WHEN DOOR IS OPENED , see my key fob had a broken unlock button so when I put the key manually in the key slot on the door to open my alarm would go off , so putting key Fob into the ignition slot and turned on would shut off the alarm. so the finale fix after experimenting,
[ shut off engine , get out now push the inside manual door locks button & shut the door , NOW put key in door key slot turn to lock position and , next time I unlock it with the key and open the door no More alarm going off, ] I'm getting a new Key Fob in the mail }

Anyone have a good site to read up on installing relays and fuses? Installing a winch and probably some lights and I would prefer to do it right. Thanks in advance.

I am trying a lawnmower foam filter cut to fit. Haven't run it yet though.

Yeah, I was thinking something like that or modding an EMPI breather.
That will work just fine
04 has had one in it for over 100,000 miles, well replaced a few times but that kind of foam filter
03s only been in last 50,000 miles

That is exactly what is in mine, no problems as of yet. It had a piece of fiberglass insulation in it when I got it.

I ended up using a bit of Shop Vac dust sleeve for now. Planning on a minor mod to install an EMPI VW crank filter on it- much more rugged, washable, and easily fits with on modifications to the breather box.

The wife is gone for the week, so my jeep gets to stay warm in the garage!
Got to " drag race " a old hooptie XJ today
Guy thought he had a real race jeep
3 different style of wheels on it , bald tires, no muffler , rattle can paint job
every light ( about 15-16 through this town we were in ) he would sit there racing his motor , laughing and pointing shouting come on I'll take ya, I'll take ya , come on LOL
2nd to last light through this town , he does it again
and then light turns green, he punches his, then I let the 03 growl a little, I was sitting at the next light before he rolled out a vehicles length almost
He pulled up to next light, girlfriend rolled up the passenger window ( he was in left lane ) sat there very quietly and when the light turned he slowly took off
Most fun I had all day almost LOL
