If you fear bending it why not
Mount it all up
weld the nut to the forward most pcs.
weld up some gussets between the 2
this should help avoid bending
By welding the nut you ensure that it can easily be
removed

Merlin had said the the most he heard was on a couple of hard cores the 6inch it would crack the casting but nothing on the 4inch that is really only 2.5inch so not to worried I just know I have odd luck. So will just see what happens.

Yeah, that's the ticket I think. One piece is the way to go.

Thought there was a new Magician around or something

:happy175:

No Tom, Merlin is the magician, and a Marlin is a fish with a long pointy nose, and a Marlon drives a Jeep and hangs around on here..............:happy175:

Ok, back to the tri-link...............:happy175:

waiting for shop installing the new bushings to call while installing a custom mod of my own.

I made some stabilizer bar spacers to raise it up a hair to clear the flange bolt.

Fabbed and painted:

Installed:

Why?
Because the clearance to the flange bolt is too close after you install the link extension and you (or in this case I) get a bang bang going over bumps in the road.
Here's what it looks like after installing my bar spacers:

Of course you can run without the stabilizer bar, but after putting mine back on after running without it for almost 2 years I realized that it does handle better on the road with it installed. Now, when I go offroading next, I would probably take it off.

Thanks for the tip Rockymountain I'll have to work on that mod while waiting my bracket still hasn't come yet. Do you have any size and dimension for your spacers? If not I can do it would save me some time though.
