Turn signal issue 03 jeep liberty sport

Today I was driving to work and was turning left, when the turn signal cancelled out my dash indicator stayed on. When I got to work I checked the actual lights and the left turn signal lights are on all the time without flashing. But the turn signals work fine left and right and cancel out perfectly fine. Anyone have any idea what could cause this? Thank you
