Turn signal is staying on/ isn’t flashing

Having an issue on our 05 Jeep Liberty where the right turn signals are always on. the right turn signal indicator is always on and doesn’t flash at all.

When I had random and then persistent issues with my Jeep’s signals, it was the multifunction switch (the stalk on the left side of the steering wheel) that was worn out. A new one from a junkyard Liberty solved the problem. They are easy to swap out.

I think Ive seen this before. I wonder if it may be possible that corrosion is present in the tiny side marker turn bulb socket hmmm..

I will try to trace wires tomorrow behind the head lights
I was glad I had most of the parts I replaced from a donor.
