Hi everybody.
I've a problem with my kJ.
When I accelerate slowly, the engine doesn't run well at 1700 RPM.
After 5 seconds, It apparently takes 300 RPM up to 2000 RPM.
I've this problem on all gears.
There is no trouble code.
If I accelerate stronger, there is no problem.
But, I have this trouble since the ECU have been changed two years ago by Jeep.
I called that to JEEP FRANCE but they din't find anything.
Is there anyone who have or had this problem?
I think it's may be the throttle sensor but I want to have an advise before change it.

Long ago my CRD turned on the TPS light on the dashboard and went into "limp-mode" while a friend was driving it. I limped it to the dealer since it was under warrenty and they hooked their computer to it in the parking lot and said it had no codes. They must have done something since it never did it again. No new parts.

Another great website for Jeep Liberty/Cherokee is LOSTkj. More information on the CRD there. Good luck.

Best place for CRD problems is the "Liberty CRD Love That Torque" section at:

LOST JEEPS • Index page

Could be the throttle sensor but could be a sticky turbo vane mechanism.

Export model KJs have some differences to the USA models but the 2006 CRD Export is very close to the USA model so Lost is really the best place for advice although they generally mainly cover USA models.:icon_biggrin:

You need to post your problem in the "Liberty CRD Love That Torque" section so that the experts can offer you some good advice which may save you the price of the Throttle Sensor!
