Mine keeps complaining that half the desert is in my drums. Ain't no scorpions in there so I tell him to **** and clean 'em.

If he means most of the contact area, unless it's been standing for a while, the calipers aren't working.

Otherwise, that's perfectly normal, after all, they're untreated/coated iron exposed to the elements.
