The Moabs seem to look the part on just about every type of Jeep I've seen them on.

I've been looking at the Dura tracs but may go with the Maxxis 762's

Thanks, I seem to be changing rims/tires alot and I think my next setup will be Pro Comp 7031s and Maxxis 762s.

Just a note on the Maxxis tires
the rubber is VERY hard ,or it was a while back
makes for a long lasting tire but not so great traction

Really? I read an article in an off road magazine, probably Petersons, that they were a pretty good offroad tire for the price.

Ready to regear to 4.10s as well? trust me its worth it if you're going to 265-75s if not it'll shift every ten minutes on the highway

I have not re-geared and mine runs great on the highway, does not shif at all. Take a look at my album, all pics are with the tire size you asking about.

If I only had flat land to drive on then it would not be "as much " of a problem either, but most don't
trust me though if you did regear you'd love it even on flat land
And no don't try and say you have hills, mole hills maybe but

oh yeah they are tough and hold up well
talking about the Maxxis Buck Shot's
but the tread was very hard and would chunk
or not get very good traction in the "big rocks"

That is a good point.. Didnt really think about that. Trust me, I lived 3 years in Colorado, I do know what hills/mountains are. Either way...not affected in Florida then..

Just have them siped (as well as any other mud tire)... causes better surface temperature distribution, more flexible, better ice and snow traction, and a longer life

From what I've found out the Bighorn 762 seems to be a better all around choice.

The Buckshot has earned its' place in the mud tire category for sure:

But the Bighorn 762 has taken that idea a step further and has got some really good reviews and the 762's are siped on the shoulders blocks tread and side wall but could be done a bit more, I guess:

Or better yet just get some Duratracs
GREAT in the snow with all kinds of siping, do as well on wet roads and even mud
I have about 18000 on mine and loving them more every day

Yes and no
They are louder than a AT of course, but not nearly as loud at a MTR etc. You hear them but its just enough to hear them and know you have a more aggresive tire on.
