After an 8 year ride, I have decided to sell my Liberty. 129,500 miles.
All done in last 3 months- JBA Tommudd 3.5 lift with Al's A arms. Rear boomerang components replaced too. New Napa reman CVs, new axle seals Fresh Mopar Water pump, new radiator and tension pulley assembly. New spark plugs, new PCV.
Within last six months, all fluids changed including fresh brake fluid. Power steering fluid sucked out and refilled several times.
All within the last year- New paint on hood and roof, new windshield, Hankook Dynapro tires. New hood and hatch lift struts. Drivers seat bottom repadded and new panel to replace worn edge on left side. Grey interior.
A/C blows cold, 2 months ago I cleaned the screen behind glove box, replaced resistor too. Compressor and desicant tank were replaced in 2010.
Options: 3.7L, 5 speed, limited slip rear, power sunroof, offroad package (includes all skid plates, tow hooks). Fog lights, cruise control, defrosters on side mirrors. Roof racks. HD cooling (electric and mech fan)
8 speaker Alpine/ Kenwood system, with handsfree, Bluetooth, Pandora, works for Iphone and Android, also has a remote.
Had rust starting in lower rear of front doors. Has been repaired. Bottom seams on two doors had minor rust, treated, painted then sealed. You can see the small repairs but not too noticeable. Rust below 3rd brake light, treated and painted. Minor dings here and there and a dent on rear next to hatch from a failed attempt to remove a kayak carefully off the roof.
The only towing my Jeep has seen is trips to the boat ramp with a 14ft skiff. It hasn't seen mud in 3 years, and that was once a year. Now an occassional railroad grade dirt road or trail to a fishing hole.
There are more upgrades and new parts that I will add to this message as I think of them. I will add more pics also. It's a great Jeep, hard decision I debated about for 6 months, but I need a pick up for the work I do and want to do. PM me with any questions. I will text or email pics of anything you want to see more of. I will be listing on ebay next week after I get it detailed. Has an EVAP leak code, which I will find and fix before sale.
