I noticed some KJ owners remove the rear sway for articulation and remove the driveline damper for ground clearance.

What else can be removed to enhance manueverability and ground clearance?

I'm actually interested in the driveline damper question as well. Does it REALLY dampen, or is it just a big weight that I can remove?

I have a buddy who's a drivetrain engineer at American Axle - he saw it on there and was "What the hell, that's a HUGE damper!!"

I removed the rear swaybar and dampener last spring, and noticed no difference in handling... other than better flex on the trails.

I recently removed my girlfriend.
Although this mode didn't affect my ground clearance, it drastically improved my off-road capabilities! :D
