The time has finally come for a needing a new rear cv joint on the front drive shaft. The boot has been gone for numerous years now and it's just starting to make a clicking sound.

I'm seeing 2 options for the joint; driveshaftparts.com and a dorman one from rockauto. The driveshaftparts one is a fair bit cheaper but I am reading that several people are having problems with them. Has anyone used the dorman one? Think it's any better? There's also an omix-ada one for over $200 but it looks IDENTICAL to the driveshaftparts one.

IMO they are all the same basically
A lot has to do with the install , you have to really pack the grease in there well. Seen a couple that people did that failed and they just didn't pack them good. Tough , greasy, nasty job doing it right
