I think that graphic color would look good on a set of MOABs also

But, after seeing the flat black MOABs on LOST, it just looks so tempting

Is the stock tire mount attached to the rear gate strong enough to hold a 265/70?
I really don't want to have to get the hitch tire mount because I don't like the idea of having to drop the tire to the ground every time I want to open my trunk
And then push it back up to lock it in place
Just seems tedious and annoying
The only thing I like about the hitch tire mount is it angles the tire

CAN ANGLE THE GATE MOUNT AS WELL IF YOU WANT, MAY HAVE TO DEPENDING ON TIRE SIZE AND TREAD PATTERN TO CLEAR WINDOW ANYWAYS

OK?

30-9.50-15s ??

I keep forgetting that the GG AT2 I want is a 31-10.5r15
I don't know why I keep saying 265-70
Their 30x9.5 is 29.7" tall and the 31x10.5 is 30.8" so it shouldn't be too bad

LOL ok
look at the weight of them, plus being 30.8 need to regear
Problem with 15 inch most are heavier than similar sized 16s
and if GG AT2 is General Grabbers well ........
never was sure what some liked about them

Yep I'm abbreviating them as GG
I like the look of them and have seen good reviews
I already stated what they weighed in my previous post
40lbs per tire and around 20lbs per wheel so in total around 60lbs each
What I've read is the stock wheels/tires are around 45-50lbs each

General has never been a good brand to sell
sold tires for years and they were always down on the list of what sold good

Price and performance. I got 4 tires mounted balanced and old ones disposed of for $550 total with tax and everything. Some people pay more than that for all seasons. I couldnt find a comparable tire look/review wise for anything close to that price for a stock size. Once you go bigger there are more options but for the 235-70-16 its kind of limited for all terrain.

I have been seeing more and more since i got mine. I think people are getting wise to BFG's $200 a tire thing.

BFGs were a good tire back in the 70s, very early 80s, but since that time they have been selling name only , nothing else
Now the last models they have people say they are better but they still price them way out of reach

I still see every off road mall crawler have bfg's. Too much money they have nothing else to buy but expensive tires. I will be trying a different brand when i up size but for stock size i really like the grabbers.

i just put some toyo open country at2's on a few days ago, only one needed minimal weight to balance and they didnt cost an arm and leg plus i like the look and weighed a little less the the GG. Have the same tires on the farm truck and they perform well and wear well, but that truck has never seen pavement.
