I have to admit that I have not researched this to much. I want to know what the limits in lifting a Jeep are, and being able to tow behind it? My wife threw me for a loop when this weekend she saw a camper she liked. That means that sooner or later I’ll be getting a camper. The thing is I want to lift a bit too. Not like 2o” or anything. I don’t see how unless there are adjustable height tow packages. Are there?

No need to adjust any thing just a drop hitch
Old Man Emu makes HD springs which supply lift
The bigger issue will come from taller tires
Which will kill your ability to tow but there is
the option to regear

My 245/70/17 (same as a 245/75/16) didn't have any negative affects on towing. I towed a 3k trailer cross country, with no sagging or anything. Lift will only help. Really it's in the drop (lifted, 3 1/4" is a good starting point). :)

I have a 6X10 enclosed and a 5X8 with 2 foot sides I haul wood with and have towed them both all over. The enclosed has been from Ohio to Boston and Ohio to Orlando a few times fully loaded and all with mine Lifted
The 4.10s do help now though :icon_twisted:
