Is that MountainMan's KK? Same color and the bumper looks right...

That's a lot of jack for a lift but if that's your purpose-built hobby/overland Jeep then why not. It's pretty awesome engineering for sure.

Love the design of the upper and lower a-arms. What gearing did he go with - 4.56's?

Bob

You're throwing out 20,000 and you have no clue what all parts there even is :happy175::happy175::happy175:
The ORI Struts are at least 800 each and there are 4 of them and thats only the beginning
( prices I found anyways for the length they used so right there is 3200 bucks)

The rear

Dana 44 out of a JK with factory electric locker and 5:13 gears.
custom 3 link mount,
removed the fuel tank, muffler and exhaust system, rerouted complete exhaust.
The fuel tank is an modified fuel tank from an old Wrangler.

Can it play Crysis?

Sounds like quite an impressive overhaul. :waytogo:

noob question here.
Do extensive vehicle modifications like this require some sort of inspection?
Probably varies by state as well I take it?

Some states yes, I know here in Ohio, no one checks anything at all.
They used to do road checks on cars , stop you and look over your vehicle. Went through several with various builds on mine years ago and no one ever said a word. Don't do it anymore though. More likely than not they wanted to know more about the build.
Now some states though are really a**holes when it comes to builds like this

You could do something like this on a KJ right?

Yes even be easier in a way due to gas tank location, and exhaust
no relocating them , well slight mods to exhaust
Pretty much everything done here would go right on a KJ
Also pretty easy for Grand Cherokees as well
