I currently have an RB1 nav radio installed in my 2003 Liberty. I don't have a CD changer, so I think the best option for me would be to install the iPod Integration Kit so I can listen to my iPod through the RB1 unit. (Please don't tell me to get a CD changer instead, as my ENTIRE music collection of almost 10,000 songs is on my iPod.) I am looking to install the same one that is shown in this thread: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28177

Anyways, my concern is being able to install the iPod kit in my 03 Liberty. From what I have read, the kit is only compatible with 2004-2007 models. Does anyone know if it will work in my 2003 Liberty? Are there any certain part numbers for the iPod kit that work differently with certain radios and/or model years?

Thanks for any advice!

After looking through that thread you linked it says:
RBK 05091506AE/AF 05091556AF
RBP 05094468AC
RAH 05161262AA/AB 05094564AB/AC
RBQ 05091507AE 05064038AA/AB
RAZ 05064042AB/AC

You can check the back of your radio for the expansion port that is used by the iPod adapter to plug directly into the radio. Depending on the build date of your 03 you might have it. Apparently they updated all the RB1 radios to have this expansion port, but it may not have been until late 2003/2004 MY.
