I am sure your bored of no bus but !!!

2003 kJ 3.7

Hi all buy kJ starts runs fine but as soon as I put it in drive or 2 I get the no bus all lights and no gauges if I put it in 1 N R or P it all goes back to normal I am getting codes p1698,p1687 and p1686 I have cleaned connections on cluster and in fuse box but am at a loss as to where to start looking next

I am no expert on the auto transmissions as I have a manual box but I would suggest that you check the connectors on the TCM and PCM...re-plug them a few times in case of a bad connection.

You probably would need to take this to a Dealer for them to trace down the No Bus problem and read out the codes from the PCM and TCM
