Had a weird problem today, flick the hi beams and turned lights out, click again lights back on? Also had the head lights switch off by them selves, seems it happens when the vehicle been running for awhile. Also had the rear gate open and heard it clicking in cycles. Always lock the doors and that problem goes away. I am not thinking battery as I have no other issues. What am I looking at ? Thanks

Rear gate clicking is a good sign of bad battery or bad battery connections, bad connection of negative battery cable to chassis or bad grounding cable from engine to chassis. Also check your alternator is charging well.

Lights issue could be the high Beam Relay which is on the front of the Junction Block ie. the interior fuse panel.....swap it over with a similar relay from behind the fuse panel.

Or the Multifunction Switch could be bad.

Or there could be bad connections going to the BCM which is the unit plugged on the back of the Junction Block....try re-plugging the connections with battery disconnected. The BCM has a lot of control over the lights...switches them off after a certain time if you left them ON while turning off the ignition for example.

First check all your battery connections etc. are clean and tight.
