Front Driveshaft Needed ?

Hi Guys

I've read many times that our KJ
can be driven with the front driveshaft
removed.

By front driveshaft I mean the shaft
from the transfer case to front differential.

I just want to verify this is correct
and there's no ill effects of driving
with it removed.

Correct, just don't put into 4wd and maybe throw a rag into the front diff side.
