since you dont know what it is you probably need one ... it tells the computer when to shift and how to shift... this could be the issue

the codes were the spark plugs because one was misfiring so got them all replaced and then an O2 sensor was bad and got it replaced

a misfire is normally the coil pack not the plug.

well ask about if they learned the transmission if they did then you need a copil pac probably but it could be the wiring to the coilpack and not the pack itself.

do that then ... if the misfire is on the same cylinder take the coil pac off and put it on a different cylinder it should then jump there ... easy way to test without putting a pac in
