I gotcha well I'm going to look into 265 70's, I didn't realize the extra width would clear very well. I found a set of MOAB's locally on craigslist decided to get them and will be powder coating them black instead of the factory 17's I have now.

Moabs and 265-70-16 work great

I am running this...but be prepared to lose an average 2-3mpgs from stock tires, running stock gears.

Today I calculated 17MPGs on my last tank. That's a BIG deal as of late. I've been averaging between 14.5 and 16 with 265/70/16 Load Range D2 tires. Prior to the tires I was averaging 17-18 mixed, 19-21 highway.

This is how they look:

Look good on there for sure, yes even that size you take a hit , one reason I have some 4.10s to swap in very soon after the lift is installed

Looks really good! Do you have any front or rear straight on pics I'm trying to get an idea of how wide the tires look compared to the 245/75/16's I had on my renegade. I'm not overly concerned with the MPG my old renegade only got like 13 average. My wife's KJ is still stock running 235's so if I need MPG we can take hers haha.

I don't, actually. I'll try to remember to grab one after work.

this is why you use the correct backspacing on wheels so you can stuff them when off road, was checking to see how much bumpstop I was going to run

That's a good price! Pepboys sells the Discoverer H/Ts but don't see an RTX listed. They seem like an upgrade based on price over the Adventurers that they also sell. They have the H/Ts for about 140 per tire but also buy 3 get one free. That for a stock size and doesn't include m/b/install. Googled them and they have a nice looking tread design. Look similar to the Kelly Safari ATRs I just got.

Here's a pic in this thread:

LOST JEEPS • View topic - Tire Recommendation

Guess they aren't a new design but I haven't seen them around.
