Rock Lizard Super Skink Sliders or JCR Offroad Stage 3 sliders?
Both sell for $325.00 per pair and shipping within $15.00...

Rock Lizards are sweet and the tube that extends past the rockers acts
as a "Step".
Their mounting to the vehicle is definitely more robust than the JCR sliders.
But the JCR's are a little bigger in tube size and a little longer overall.
The tubing which extends out past the rockers angles up which I also kind of like.
Seems like they may offer a little more protection?

Any opinions folks?

Other than the few available pictures on websites of these sliders in action, does
anybody have any pictures of sliders being beat on?

I'm NOT looking for poser shots.
But photo's of actual sliders being slid on...

Mine have been slid and beat on real hard, ask Troy
he dropped off of a huge rock and you can barely tell it
For me RLs due to design/strength and over all use.
The slant up on JCRs looks good but as far as using them for a step they would suck big time since you only have one rail to step on
Plus if you get up against a rock or tree they do not stick out quite a far so could be more damage. I have put mine against a tree and spun myself around it just on the rock rail
My 80 year old mother uses mine all of the time to step on and climb in mine with no issues no way could she do that with the JCRs
If someone said pick out whichever one you want and they were paying for them
it would be a no brainer

RL will make you full length sliders if you want them,they are 68" long which is what it is from wheel well to wheel well.Both my sets have been 68" long.

A close up pic of the dent Tom was talking about that my 1st set suffered,dropped my 5500lbs KJ right on that outer bar and it was about 12"+ drop.RL told me to stop as he thought I broke the slider,nope just a small dent.

I just sent Rock Lizard an email for an order for a set of Super Skink Sliders.
Jen and I look foreword to bolting them on so we don't incur any more rocker panel
damage to our Heep!

After all...

"For the type of off roading I do... I need rock rails!"

End of the month I'll be ordering some Super Skink Sliders
I look foreword to bolting some real protection to our Heep!
No offence to anybody who owns JCR products...
But JCR's mounting system just looks to Mickey Mouse to me.
Their sliders are not triangulated in any way shape or form!
