My climate control knobs had cracks going down the side that were illuminated at night. I thought to get replacements at a salvage yard but every one in 16 Liberty's had cracks. Knobs were functional so why bother? Because it bugged me. What I did: opened the cracks wider with a pocket knife, filled them with JB Weld, sanded down the JB Weld to get smooth surface, and used Sharpie permanent marked to color JB Weld. Just before the Sharpie ink completely dried, I wiped the ink with a paper towel to get a finish that matched the knobs. Are they like new? Well not quite under close scrutiny but from the seats they look perfect. Any more persnickety guys out there beside me?
