Just noticed a metal on metal grinding sound while driving through the city the other day. Only able to hear the sound when driving down a narrow, packed street.
Anyhow, the sound is constant until I brake about 40-70%, then nothing until I begin coasting or accelerating again. It sounds as though it's in the front drivers side, but I can't be sure.
Lifetime pads have about 40k miles while the truck has 98k.
I'm going to throw it on some jacks this weekend and check everything but was wondering if anyone has any tips to speed things up or any tell-tale signs I should specifically look for?
