My KJ was slightly damaged when I got it. So I already need to replace the grille, bumper cover, and the plastic bits behind them. Would the '05-'06 Renegade bits be a straight bolt-on? I really like that look much more than my stock '03. Yes, I know I'd need the hood and hinges as well. I don't mind if it means I'm happier with the vehicle.

Flat hood
But you'd have to change everything from grill support, and a whole lot of other things in there, many have tried/ started none have succeeded

Ya I think fenders, grille, all supports underneath. Possibly rework the rear of engine bay... sounds like a lot for a flat hood.

There was a thread on LOST (I think) that said all you need is the hood, hinges, grille, and the plastic bit behind the grille. That makes sense because I can't see a company making major changes to the main body just to add a different hood to one trim package. I can see the fenders being different too since the flares are different. But I don't know. I may have to find a junkyard with a Renegade I can look at. What are the odds of finding that?

It's not about the hood. I prefer the overall look of the Renegade front end. Since I have to replace most of mine anyhow it seems reasonable to replace a few extra parts to get the look I want.

Like mentioned there are a few who started to try and said it would, they are still driving their stock looking KJs with no flattie hood
