Anyone seen the newest recall?

I just saw the recall on the 06 & 07 Liberty's for the rear lower control arm. I'm still in the process of purchasing the 06 for my son, so I'm hoping I can get the dealer to have it fixed as soon as possible. We are taking a 9 hour trip to pick him up at Parris Island the first of August. While I don't think our particular vehicle will have this issue (especially on this trip) it would still be peace of mind.

I do have a question about the window recall. Will the dealers only fix the windows if they break? That's what it looks like to me. Unfortunately the college my son attends will not allow him to use his vehicle for other than school related stuff until his senior year, so it sits in a parking lot rather than in a driveway, where it would be noticed if one of the windows broke.

I just threw it up there in the recall section today.

03-05 had the same recall (or something around those years). Takes about 60 minutes to do at the stealership and is a rarity to break. Look at them yourself. If they look like they're splitting, don't drive it. Else, you'll be fine!
