AC compressor working all the time

hey.

I just noticed- my AC compressor goes on and off all the time. now its cold....raining...heater is on, AC is off - but my AC compressor keeps clicking every few seconds. as far as i know from other cars- thats the sound you get when you turn the AC on - it doesnt happen all the time. any ideas?

The reason it does that is to keep the cabin humidity down and to also keep the compressor from failing due to lack of use.

0.o I thought that as long as the AC mode is off or AC symbol isn't selected on the dial isn't selected the compressor does not kick on at all. I guess I read it wrong then.

Make that less for '05+ KJ's since any mode with floor setting also kicks on the AC compressor.

So he only has 1 setting that doesn't run the compressor?
