I was thinking a 3" coil over lift with a 2.5" spacers, and extended control arms, good idea bad idea?. From the shops im getting mixed reactions some think its the stupidest thing you could do!, some people think Liberty's can't wheel. Others said its been done and works fine ...or is this a shop looking for a sale. let me know what you think, or offer a way to get 33" or 35" tires under my renegade.(with out a solid swap)

Dam small libby wheel wells!

I don't think you've done enoungh reseach on the matter. With the current front D-30a differential, the steepest gears available are 4:10's in an already weak Aluminum housing. Even if you lift the IFS to fit 35's the gearing would be the downfall. That's why people SFA the front to be able to run 4:88 - 5:13 gears to turn the 35's.

Try checking this out as it may be more in your ballpark, and is near ready to market.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
If you really want 33" or bigger tires go with the SFA swap.Right now I'm running 31.9" tires and my 4.10's are not enough, really need 4.56's.I'm going SFA and will be using a HP44 and Currie RockJock60 (both full width) and running 35x13.50 Toyo Open Country MT's on about 6"-7" of lift,I'll be using 5.13 gears.Granted doing a SFA on a KJ can get pricy but you'll spend about as much building up a TJ or JK.
