Maybe I'm worrying too much, but my chain is starting to stretch ( You can hear it...).
Are all 242 chains the same? Any clue about a reliable supplier? This time I won't go the
OEM route ( those would not be OEM anyway... ).
Shall I be referring to ZJs/WJs 242 TCs if the supplier does not include KJs?
Also, I'm almost done with repairing the transfer case part of a front shaft ( friend's '03)
using a popular repair kit ( driveshaftparts ). Now, I had issues trying to make caps
or whatever You call them, snap in place. I used ( don't laugh.. ) a ball joint remover
as a vice, and almost did it. Will tightening the six 8mm bolts finish the job when reinstalling it ?
