tjkj, you have an 02 which had the better jack than the 03-07. I can't believe it wouldn't take your stock jeep off the ground. Now I am afraid to try mine out...........I am carrying 2x8 blocks of wood and a hi-lift hydralic jack that I just took out. I am putting it back in now. I also got 2 compressors, a tire plug kit I made up.

Yep it was almost maxed out even before it would touch the cut outs in the "frame" of the unibody where you are supposed to use to lift the front.

Right now I need a jack that is capable of lifting 22" at least to get my front wheels off the ground. The rear is a different since I can just jack under the pumpkin.

IIRC on my Liberty the front lifting points are the lower control arms. I think there is a flat spot that fits nicely. Not sure because I just use the floor jack on the sub frame behind the sway bar or where the front skids would mount.

Yeah but the OEM jack for a '02 KJ is a junk bottle jack which is just slightly better then the scissor jack that came it later years(blarg)
