You didn't have to get it programmed? Does it still have the VIN/mileage of its original vehicle or did it adapt to your vehicle?
Make sure you have the correct paper work stating the new mileage and cluster.If/whn you sell and someone finds out your on the hook for a federal crime.I don't know what you mean by VIN of the original vehicle but the Mileage is stored in the cluster itself so It still states the mileage of the original Vehicle that it was in, Luckily though that is less than 50 miles off of what the mileage of my Jeep is. I am not sure if the dealer could program the exact mileage but as it is so close I won't worry about it.

Yeah but they will want the paper work stating the work needed for the mileage "not known".not quite... all I have to do is disclose that it is "Not Actual Mileage" and the title will be branded as such (at least that is how it works in the 2 states that I reside in) The only way it would be a crime is if I didn't disclose (or lied about) the mileage difference.
