i have a stock 2002 Limited and i'm thinking about ordering some 18" Incubus poltergeist, but i would like to see some pics of how the jeep looks with 18" wheels without lift.
would this config fit? 255/55R18, 255/60R18 with the wheels described?
also, any recommendation of tires with a little rugged look?

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Well 255/55's are 29" tall tires so height wise your good but the width and the need for at least a 8" rim that lower profile sidewall and the aftermarket rims probally can't be had with the stock 5.5" BS you have a very good chance of some good rubbing issues. It's all how much you can stand and how much turning raduis you are willing to lose.

thanks guys, i really like how the liby looks with this config, i wanted to build mine for off-road but it's a 4x2 so i think i might just get a 4x4 for the dirty fun and keep this 4x2 for the family ride.

i took this quote from the Startech website about the liberty.

"Extensive driving test proved tires in size 255/55 R 18 to be the optimal solution"

i wonder how would look with those wheels.
