I have an '04 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7and Quadratrac. I placed the shift lever in Drive and the Jeep went in reverse. This happened only one time. Solutions?

Our 2004 limited had the same symptoms. The torque converter was replaced just before 70,000 miles. (under warranty) I have had no problems since the replacement.

My 2004 Limited had the same problem. At 63,000 miles both seals, and the output shaft were replaced under warranty. The t-case is now dry as a bone.
