42RLE Reliability?

Just wondering how long should I expect my 42RLE ****** to last with proper maintenance?

Also have any of you had and issues with them?

I'm hoping mine will last till the engine dies.

Well...
Our 2004 has 196433.9 Kilometer/122058.4 Miles on the clock as of today and
the ****** is solid, shifts smooth and so far, we haven't noticed any problems
with it!
But then again, I am **** retentive when it comes to vehicle maintenance!

My 2004 Limited needed a new torque converter and rebuild all under warranty!
I first noticed a vibration ( like rumble strips ) at 40-45 mph at 60,000 miles.
I pulled into the dealership with 69,998 miles on the odometer! I planned that last trip by the way. I have always serviced the vehicle according to the owners manual.
I hope it lasts another 70,000 miles.
